Definition:

A corn allergy is due to an immune system reaction after contact with and/or ingestion of corn.

What foods are safe?

Fresh fruits and vegetables, grass fed meats, eggs, and dairy products are a safe bet. Choose whole grains like oats, quinoa, and millet for meals. Make sure you read the label of all processed foods like breads, cereals, bakery products, and oils.

If you suspect you have food allergies, see your doctor or allergist for testing and diagnosis. Knowing what foods to avoid and carrying emergency medicine like epinephrine, if needed, can save your life if you have a serious allergy.
